Phil Ivey is, for many players, simply the best to ever play the game. He won his first WSOP bracelet in 2000 at 23 and now has eleven, spread across hold'em, Omaha, stud and mixed games. He has also won a WPT title and reached the 2009 WSOP Main Event final table.
Ivey was a dominant force in the Full Tilt-era nosebleed cash games and, after a quieter spell, returned to the circuit through the Triton short deck and no-limit high rollers in Asia and Europe. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2017.
