Antonio Trocoli is a Brazilian MMA fighter who fights in the world’s most famous MMA company, UFC. Trocoli hasn’t fought for 13 months. Before that, he fought last Saturday on UFC 232, where he lost against Mansur Abdul-Malik. Trocoli said that the 13-month pause from fighting hasn’t caused him any financial problems.
Trocoli attracted attention this summer after finishing sixth place in the WSOP $500 No Limit Hold’em – Colossus event and winning $122,000. He also revealed that he has earned a total of approximately $200,000 playing poker. He also played poker right before UFC 323, and he admits that he briefly reduced the intensity of his training in November.

I consider myself a poker player who also competes in MMA, but I’m still an MMA fighter who enjoys playing poker. That’s my plan A. However, last year I was out of action for a long time due to a spinal injury, so I dedicated myself to poker and studying.
I made more money on cards, but now I’m back, and I want to fight a good fight at a good event. I know the challenge is tough, but I don’t shy away from tough fights, says Trocoli. He had two disappointing performances last year. First, he accepted a fight against Sharo Magomedov on short notice, with exhausting travel and weight loss. – I wasn’t happy with that performance.
People say the fight was good, but I don’t see it that way. And the second fight was a disaster. I made a mistake in my strategy. Instead of keeping him at a distance, I got into the wrong rhythm and did exactly what I trained all camp to avoid, he said. Despite the bad streak, Trocoli claims that he doesn’t feel pressured by the possibility of dismissal. – I just want to live and be happy.
Whatever comes, it’s good. We always think it’s bad, and then it turns out it’s not. We’re looking for a path, but we’re actually going through a process. Maybe my path is something else. Until I find it, I live in a promise, he said.

According to Hendon Mob, Trocoli had his first recorded live cash in 2019 when he won $455 playing a poker tournament in Brazil. His next recorded live cash came in 2025, and it is his most significant cash ($122,330). He had four more cashes in 2025, playing in Brazil to round up the year with total live earnings of $129,086.
